Corps of Engineer Services celebrated its 73rd Anniversary was held splendidly at RHQ CES on 10 January 2023. A Guard turnout followed by a Ceremonial Parade was accorded to Brig KMS Kumara, the Colonel Commandant CES and Director Engineer Services. After the group photo appeared, the Colonel Commandant participated in a tea party, opened the swimming pool of the Home of Creators, inaugurated the reconstructed two-storied building and presented the relevant certificates to the ORs who have the NVQ Level 3 certificate of the Corps of Engineer Services.
In the end, Colonel Commanding participated to the all rank lunch, then addressed all the officers and concluded the ceremony. Brig EADK Edirisinghe the Centre Commandant CES, Senior Officers, Officers, Lady Officers, Corps Sargent Major with Other Ranks and Civil Employees participated in this event.
