CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES CELEBRATED SINHALA AND HINDU NEW YEAR WITH A TRADITIONAL TEA TABLE

At Regimental Headquarters, Corps of Engineer Services, a traditional tea table was arranged to welcome the New Year spirits, alongside a cordial gathering of all ranks on Wednesday, April 17th. Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, The Director General Financial Management, and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Upon arrival, The Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, The Director Engineer Services. The Colonel Commandant extended New Year greetings to the gathering.

The tea table was adorned with a variety of traditional sweetmeats along with milk rice. The Colonel Commandant and other senior officers interacted with participants and shared their New Year wishes and thoughts with the gathering.

The occasion was marked by the distribution of gift parcels to the civil servants working at Regimental Headquarters, CES, according to the concept of the Colonel Commandant of CES, Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc.

Brig YKS Rangika psc ptsc, Director Engineer Services, Brig KL Munasinghe USP, Centre Commandant CES, Col MSD Perera USP ptsc, Deputy Centre Commandant CES, and other senior officers, officers, other ranks, and civil staff also participated in this ceremony.
