THE COLONEL COMMANDANT WELCOMED NEWLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS TO THE FAMILY OF CREATORS

Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services and the Director General Financial Management of the Sri Lanka Army, welcomed newly commissioned lady and gentleman officers to the Corps of Engineer Service on Tuesday (26) at the Regimental Centre – CES, Panagoda.

This special welcome involves the presentation of distinguished Corps tie and cufflinks, marking the beginning of a journey into the esteemed Corps of Engineer Services. Under the guidance and leadership of the Colonel Commandant, Major General Lanka Amarapala, this induction ceremony not only welcomes new officers into the fold but also instils in them a sense of pride, belonging, and responsibility. It sets the tone for their future endeavours within the Corps, emphasizing the importance of tradition, camaraderie, and service to the country.

The induction ceremony was graced by Brigadier KL Munasinghe USP, the Centre Commandant, Brigadier NWPSM Perera, the Brigadier Admin and Quartering – 1 Corps, Senior Officers, and Officers of the Corps witnessed the significant occasion.
