Maj Gen KAPJ Ratnayake Lsc, the Director General Engineer Services and Colonel Commandant Corps of Engineer Services made a formal visit to the 10th Engineer Services Regiment on 18 September 2018 Lt Col KH Kodithuwakku, the Commanding Officer, 10 ESR(V) received the Colonel Commandant.
On the following day (19 September 2018) the Colonel Commandant laid the corner Stone for the new CES Holiday bungalow to be constructed in Weerawila. Colonel R Ganegoda psc the Centre Commandant CES, Colonel P Gunasekara USP Lsc, Colonel Engineer Services (Design & Planing), Colonel KMS Kumara, the Deputy Centre Commandant CES, Colonel SN Kithulgoda , Colonel (A/Q) - HQ 12 Div, Senior Officers and Officers participated in this event.
