COLONEL COMMANDANT CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES DECLARES OPEN THE NEW "ENGINEER TECHNICAL SERVICE WORKS YARD" AT ENGINEER SERVICES CENTRAL WORKSHOP
Maj Gen H J S Gunawardena RSP USP ndc psc the Master General Ordnance and the Colonel Commandant CES ceremonially declared open the new Engineer Technical Service Works Yard at Engineer Services Central Workshop on 31 January 2019. This new Work Yard would facilitate the designing, assembling, repairing and storing of RO Plant (Reverse Osmosis) equipment, Solar Power equipment, LED Flood Light and it also consist of a fully equipped Welding Workshop. Thereafter, the Colonel Commandant laid the Foundation Stone for new 32’X120’ Two Storied OR’s Accommodation Building upon the invitation of Lt Col GPH Chandrarathne CES the Commandant Engineer Cervices Central Workshop.
