The administrative inspection of the Corps of Engineer Services was held on 10 March 2020 in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage WWV RWP VSV USP ndc psc at the Regimental Headquarter Corps of Engineer Services, Panagoda. It mainly focused to ensure all units and Institutes of the Corps are functioning as per stipulated procedures of the Sri Lanka Army and to resolve any of pending issues.
On arrival, the Chief of Staff was warmly received by the Colonel Commandant of CES, Brigadier R Ganegoda psc and accorded a drive-past Guard Turnout at the entrance of the Regimental Headquarter.
Before commencement of the proceedings of inspection conference, the Chief of Staff highlighted the importance of conducting administrative inspections needed to become a professional regiment within the Army.
Staff Officers of HQ SLAVF, Directors, Staff Officers of LOG Command, Commanding Officers of CES Units and all Staff Officers of the CES Regimental Headquarter participated in the inspection.
