Considering the importance of supplying subsidized food items to both Army and civil personnel in the area, the Corps of Engineers Services (CES) inaugurated its "Creators' Welfare Shop" at Engineer Services Central Workshop, Habarakada premises.
It was opened by Director Engineer Services and Col Commandant of Corps of Engineering Services Brig KMS Kumara at the invitation of the Centre Commandant of CES Brig EADK Edirisinghe on 14 Sep 2022.
The new welfare shop supplies all food commodities and essentials at concessionary rates and remains open till late in the evening.
