CEREMONIAL UNVEILING OF THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SHRINE ROOM AT RHQ CES

The newly constructed shrine room at Regimental Headquarters, Corps of Engineer Services (RHQ CES), was ceremonially unveiled during a solemn and dignified ceremony on 01 April 2026. The ceremony was held in the presence of the Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services, following an invitation extended by Brigadier MSD Perera USP ptsc the Centre Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services, signifying the importance of the occasion.

The unveiling was also carried out in the presence of Maha Sangha, invoking blessings and adding spiritual significance to the event. Senior officers and other ranks were also in attendance, reflecting unity and reverence while reinforcing the importance of religious and cultural values within the military community.
