The Corps of Engineer Services bade farewell to Brig SN Kithulgoda USP the Brigadier (A/Q) of 1 Corps on 31 Jan 2023 who is to be retired from the Army on 02 Feb 2023 after rendering a 28 years of exemplary and distinguished service to the Corps of Engineer Services ,Sri Lanka Army and the Nation.
He was warmly welcomed by Brig EADK Edirisinghe , the Centre Comdt CES at the Main Entrance of the Corps of Engineer Services Regimental Headquarters. After receiving the Guard Turnout, he placed floral tributes at the Corps of Engineer Services War Heroes Memorial in honour of fallen War Heroes. Brig SN Kithulgoda USP which was followed by a colourful Ceremonial Parade. Thereafter he appeared for group photograph with Officers.
After that he attended the All Ranks Tea Party and shared his thoughts with the Officers and Other Ranks partaken. The event culminated with a street lining given to Brig SN Kithulgoda USP with farewell bids "Jaya Sri" by Officers and Other Ranks lined up in a row before he departed from the Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Engineer Services as the Senior Officer.
