THE ARMY HEADQUARTERS PROVIDES 15 MOTORCYCLES TO GARRISON ENGINEERS
In response to a request made by Major General H J S Gunawardena RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Master General Ordnance and the Colonel Commandant CES, upon the special approval of the Commander of the Army, the Army Headquarters provided 15 Bajaj Discover 125 CC Motorcycles for the use of Garrison Engineers serving under the 1st,2nd ,3rd,5th,11th,16th and 17th Engineer Services Regiments. The Motorcycles were handed over to the repersentative of the respective units by Col S N Kithulgoda USP on 29 May 2019 during a special ceremony held at Corps of Engineer Services Regimental Headquarters.
