In conjunction with the 73rd anniversary of the Corps of Engineering Services, the all night pirith chanting was held at the Regimental Centre from the night of 06 January 2023, to the next day, to pay tribute to the fallen war heroes of CES and to the people and residents of serving as well as the flags of CES. The Casket and the venerable Maha Sangha was carried out in a beautiful procession. And on the next day, a donation of alms giving was also made for the venerable Maha Sangharatna.
Brigadier KMS Kumara, Colonel Commandant CES and Director Engineer Services attended the event as the chief guest, and senior Officers including Brigadier EADK Edirisinghe, Center Commander CES, senior Officers, Officers , Corps Sergeant Major and other rank participated in this event.
