The 7th Engineer Services Regiment (Vol) celebrated its 11th Unit Day on 17 July 2017 at its Headquarters in Aturugiriya . Lt Col K Wirasinghe USP CES the CO 7 ESR (V) received Brigadier K A P J Ratnayake Lsc the Director Engineer Services and Col Comdt CES who graced the occasion as the chief guest and a guard turnout was accorded in honour of Col Comdt CES . To mark the Unit Day , a Nutmeg (Sadikka) sapling was planted and the newly built Warrant Officers Sergeants Mess Building was declared open by the Col Comdt CES . The Unit Day celebration was followed by a series of entertainment events, sports activities , an All Ranks Lunch and a Musical Evening. A large gathering of Senior Officers , Officers , Other Ranks of CES participated in this event.
