The 7th Engineer Services Regiment (Vol) celebrated its 12th Unit Day on 17 July 2018 at its Headquarters in Aturugiriya . Maj SDN Sooriyapperuma Lsc CES the CO 7 ESR (V) received Major General K A P J Ratnayake Lsc the Director General Engineer Services and the Col Comdt CES who graced the occasion as the chief guest and a guard turnout was accorded in honour of Col Comdt CES . To mark the Unit Day , a Mango sapling was planted by the Col Comdt CES . The Unit Day celebration was followed by a series of entertainment events, sports activities, an All Ranks Lunch and a Musical Evening. A large gathering of Senior Officers , Officers , Other Ranks of CES participated in this event.
