6(V) ESR EXTENDS SUPPORT FOR CRITICAL MEDICAL AID UNDER CES SEVA VANITHA BRANCH

In a heartfelt gesture of compassion and solidarity, the 6(V) Engineer Services Regiment (ESR) recently carried out a financial donation through the CES Seva Vanitha Branch to provide crucial medical aid to Baby H.H. Pahandi Tharuka Gamage, the daughter of S/6S00828 Cpl Lal Ranjith HH, who is bravely battling eye cancer.

Under the compassionate leadership of Mrs. Surangi Amarapla, the Honorable President of the CES Seva Vanitha Branch, 6(V) ESR played a pivotal role in facilitating the much-needed support for Baby Tharuka Gamage's medical journey. The generous donation specifically targeted funding for an MRI scan, a critical diagnostic tool that plays a vital role in understanding and addressing the challenges posed by eye cancer.

The initiative was met with enthusiastic participation from many senior members of the Seva Vanitha Branch CES, underscoring the collective commitment of the organization to make a positive impact in the lives of those facing health adversities. Among those present were Mrs. Aruni Chandreskara, the Honorable Secretary of Seva Vanitha Branch CES, Lt Col RP Herath CES, Commanding Officer of 6(V) ESR and Maj SSC Chandrathilake CES, the coordinating officer of CES SVB.
