The 3rd Engineer Services Regiment celebrates its 22nd unit day on 11 March 2018 at its headquarters in Minneriaya.
A Guard turnout was accorded to Major General K A P J Ratnayake Lsc, the Director General Engineer Services and the Colonel Commandant CES who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Upon the invitation of Maj N N Abeysekara CES the CO 3 ESR, a "Mango Sapling" was planted and the Upper Storey of newly built Two Storied ORs' Billet was declared open by the Chief Guest. Many entertainment events have been organized to mark this day followed by a All Ranks lunch and Musical Evening.
Col R Ganegoda psc, the Centre Comdt CES, a large number of Senior Officers, Officers, RSMs, Other Ranks and Civil Employees participated the Corps Day events.
