NEWLY PROMOTED WARRANT OFFICERS AND NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS ADORNED WITH NEW RANKS

A total of 12 x Warrant Officers and 21 x Non-Commissioned Officers of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police were promoted to new ranks. Among the promoted Warrant Officers, 2 x Warrant Officers I and 5 x Warrant Officers II were formally adorned with their new rank insignia at a ceremonial event held at the Army Headquarters on 05 February 2026.

The event was graced by the Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General B G S Fernando USP Hdmc psc in accordance with military traditions.

The event was conducted with due military decorum marking a significant milestone in the professional careers of the promoted Warrant Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers while recognizing their dedicated and commendable service to the Sri Lanka Army and the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police
