MENTAL WELLNESS AND MOTIVATIONAL PROGRAM FOR WOMEN SOLDIERS

On 14th February 2025, a motivational program was conducted under the initiative of Major General ULJS Perera RSP USP npc psc, the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, and Mrs. Iresha Perera, the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch. Held in conjunction with the monthly meeting, the event aimed to enhance the mental wellness and motivation of the female officers and soldiers serving within the regiment.

The program was attended by 75 female officers and soldiers, including members of the Seva Vanitha Branch. The event featured a psychological lecture on relationship dynamics, with a special focus on love triangles, conducted by Psychologist Dr. Bhagya Deshapriya at the regimental headquarters.

In addition to the lecture, a musical entertainment session was organized to uplift the spirits of the female soldiers. The program also included a donation of school supplies and a wheelchair for the soldiers and civilian staff. To conclude the event, gift packs were distributed to the female soldiers via a raffle draw.

The initiative was designed to promote the mental well-being of the female personnel, providing them with an opportunity for relaxation, empowerment, and motivation.
