LIEUTENANT COLONEL W M T G A P WIJEKOON TAKES OVER AS GENERAL STAFF OFFICER 1 OF REGIMENTAL HEADQUARTERS

Lieutenant Colonel WMTGAP Wijekoon assumed duties as the General Staff Officer 1 - Regimental Headquarters, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 13 November 2024.

In his new role, the Senior Officer is entrusted with the smooth functioning of the General Staff Branch, a critical segment of the regimental staff. His responsibilities encompass a range of vital matters, including overseeing Military Police duties, managing training programs, ensuring security and handling controlled items etc.
