The newly-appointed Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc paid his maiden visit to the 1 st Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police at Polhengoda on Wednesday Mar 29.
The Provost Marshal was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer -1 SLCMP Major EWHS Eramudugolla USP Psc after he was greeted with a Guard Turnout at the entrance. Afterwards, the ceremonial motorcade was inspected by the Provost Marshal at the parade Ground. The Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Brigadier A M R Abeysinghe also participated the inspection .
Later, the day's Chief Guest addressed the troops and highlighted the importance of having multidimensional training, personal discipline of the soldiers and its impact on their personal life.
The Commanding Officer of 1 SLCMP presented a special memento to the Provost Marshal of SL Army, as a symbol of memory of his first formal visit to the 1st Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police after inauguration of his new office and the Provost Marshal made a camp visit to monitor the condition and infrastructure facilities available in the Camp premises and gave guidelines for further progressive improvements.
The Commanding Officer -1 SLCMP Major EWHS Eramudugolla USP Psc, Senior Officers, Officers, permanent staff of 1st Sri Lanka Corps of Military were present at the occasion.
