SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE LAUNCHES QR PAYMENT SYSTEM

The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, in collaboration with the Bank of Ceylon, officially launched the QR Payment System for welfare facilities available at the Regimental Headquarters premises on 28 February 2025.

The launch ceremony was graced by Major General U L J S Perera RSP USP nps psc, the Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, whose visionary leadership laid the foundation for this initiative.

Implemented under the supervision of the Centre Commandant, Brigadier MMMP Mahesh Kumara, the newly introduced payment system is a significant step towards modernizing welfare facilities within the SLCMP which ensures greater convenience for members while enhancing financial transparency in welfare schemes and making a remarkable milestones in digital transformation.
