The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) held its July Monthly Meeting on 03 July 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters SLCMP, which was meaningfully enriched by a special donation programme held in parallel.
During the event, Mrs. Iresha Perera, President of the SLCMP Seva Vanitha Branch presented a financial donation of Rs. 100,000 to Corporal K M D W S Samarasinghe - 4 SLCMP who is currently undergoing medical treatment following an accident and is in the process of constructing a new house. In addition, a further Rs. 35,000 was contributed to the Seva Vanitha Branch Welfare Fund, supporting the continuation and expansion of ongoing welfare activities.
The donations were formally accepted by the Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Brigadier M M M P Mahesh Kumara on behalf of the beneficiary and the organization.
This thoughtful gesture highlights the Seva Vanitha Branch’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of SLCMP personnel and their families, reinforcing its mission of providing compassionate, meaningful, and timely support to those in need.
