S/681923 L/Cpl Manik Athula S D of 4 SLCMP achieved a remarkable milestone at the recently concluded Assistant Physical Instructor Course – 135 by securing first place in the women’s category and obtaining 11th place overall out of 132 participants, competing alongside both male and female trainees.
The intensive course which tested physical fitness, instructional skills, leadership, and resilience, saw a competitive field of trainees from across different units. Throughout the programme, L/CPL Manik Athula S D demonstrated exceptional discipline, determination, and professional excellence.
Her achievement is particularly remarkable as both male and female participants underwent the same course and assessments, making her top ranking in the women’s category a clear testament to her dedication, resilience, and professional capability in a highly demanding training environment.
