The outgoing Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General SAND Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc, paid official visits to all under-command units as part of his farewell ahead of his retirement.
During these visits, SLCMP units organized an array of programs to honor the Senior Officer's invaluable service and leadership. Addressing the officers and non-commissioned officers, the Senior Officer expressed his gratitude for their unwavering support, which enabled him to carry out his duties effectively. He also shared insightful guidance for maintaining efficiency and professionalism in future.
Major General Edirisinghe is set to retire from the Sri Lanka Army on 31 December 2024, marking the end of an illustrious career dedicated to the service of the nation.
