LANCE CORPORALS TO CORPORALS PROMOTION COURSE PROVOST NO 74 WAS COMMENCED AT SCHOOL OF MILITARY POLICE

Under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General S A N D Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc, the Lance Corporal to Corporal Promotion Course Provost 74 was Commenced on 01 July 2024 and scheduled to be terminated on 24 August 2024 at the School of Military Police , Giritale with the participation of eligible Non Commissioned Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

The Chief Instructor of School of Military Police, Maj R G B S Premarathna USP delivered the opening address and explained the aim and the importance of the Promotion course, which is needed in improving their future military career as a provost member. The course comprised of the theoretical and practical aspects with Traffic Control, Military Police duties during the period of Peace and War, Crime Investigation, Lifting of Finger Prints, Report Writing, Military Law,Civil Law, General Knowledge ,Military Knowledge, Tactics, Map Reading, Weapon Training and Drill Training.

Senior Officers, Officers, Permanant Staff of School of Military Police were present at the opening address.
