In conjunction with the monthly activities, a donation program was organized by the 5th Corps of Military Police, in collaboration with the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, on 04 January 2025, at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama.
The program included material donations valued at approximately Rs. 490,000 sponsored by Ven Lindagala Ananda Thero, Additionally it has donated around Rs. 300,000 as financial contributions to Cancer Patients. After the donation programme it has provided nutritious meals, essential nutritional supplements, comprehensive kits, and lunch for pregnant women military police ORS who are working under the RHQ SLCMP. The President and members of the Seva Vanitha Branch – SLCMP personally participated in serving delicious meals to the pregnant mothers and entertained them with a performance by the Army Dance Troupe.
Furthermore, a donation of Rs. 100,000 was made to support Senior Non-Commissioned Officers in need of assistance for their children who are suffered from cancer. The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Manisha Kothelawala, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – SLCMP, along with other members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, senior officers, and officers of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.
