The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, in collaboration with the 7th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police distributed dry relief packs to resident War Heroes at the Abimansala III Pangolla Wellness Centre on 23rd January 2025. The event, held at the Wellness Centre, aimed to alleviate the economic burden faced by the families of War Heroes.
Mrs. Iresha Perera, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and personally distributed the relief packs. Following the distribution, the President, along with senior members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, offered refreshments to the War Heroes. To uplift their spirits, a musical entertainment program was provided by the Calypso Band.
Before departing, the President and members of the Seva Vanitha Branch posed for a group photograph with the resident War Heroes.
The event was attended by Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks, all of whom were honored to participate in this meaningful occasion.
