The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General S A N D Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc visited to the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police - Galkulama on 09 August 2024. This was his maiden visit to the unit after assuming duties as the Colonel Commandant.
The Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Major LGLB Gunarathne USP psc Lsc, on the arrival. The day’s proceedings Commenced with a drive pass, group photograph, CO’s briefing, planting a sapling, troops address and all ranks tea. Before concluding the day’s itinerary, the Senior Officer placed a record of thoughts and compliments on the Visitors’ Book.
The Senior Officers, Officer Commandings of affiliated Provost Companies, Officers and Other Ranks of the 3rd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police were present at the occasion.
