ASSUMING DUTIES OF THE COMMANDING OFFICER OF 2nd REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

Newly appointed Commanding Officer of 2^nd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Maj HLSK Jayatissa Lsc assumed his duties as the 17^th Commanding Officer of 2^nd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 03 October 2024 at auspicious time.
Upon his arrival, the Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by the Second In Command of 2^nd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Maj JAGDK Seram psc. In the honour of the Commanding Officer, he was accorded with a traditional Guard Turnout at the entrance and a Ceremonial Parade at the parade ground.
Afterwards, the Commanding Officer assumed his duties as the 17th Commanding Officer of 2SLCMP at auspicious time under the blessings of Triple Gems. The day’s proceedings commenced with a group photograph, planting a sapling, laying flower wreaths at the monument and religious observances at the temple. The programme concluded with a troops address by the Commanding Officer and all ranks tea.
