10TH ANNIVERSARY OF 7TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

The 7^th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police celebrated its 10^th anniversary on 17^th January 2026. The commemorative events were held under the patronage of the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel BLKS Balasooriya Lsc.

The celebrations included an almsgiving offered to 20 Buddhist monks on 22^nd November 2025 at the camp, followed by the main ceremonial events on the anniversary day. These included a ceremonial guard turnout, a formal parade, a group photograph, and an all-ranks lunch.

Addressing the troops, the Commanding Officer appreciated the dedication and commitment of all ranks serving in the regiment. The celebrations concluded with an evening get-together, strengthening unity and camaraderie among all ranks.
