Seva Vanitha Branch – Commando Regiment Extends Support to Disaster-Affected Families

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Commando Regiment, under the leadership of its President, Mrs. Samindie Wickramaratne, organized a humanitarian donation initiative to support families affected by the recent disaster situation in the country.

In a gesture of compassion and solidarity, essential relief items including pillows, bed sheets, bath towels, and folding mattresses were handed over to assist the affected communities in rebuilding their day-to-day lives.

The official handing-over of these items took place when Mrs. Samindie Wickramaratne, President of the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch, formally presented the donations to Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit.
