The Graduation Ceremony of the Commando Real Fighting System (CRFS) Course No. 06 was successfully conducted by the RHQCR under the supervision of the Commando Brigade on 18 February 2025 at Maroon Legacy Hall at 1830hrs. The course consisted of one officer and 36 other ranks.
The Commando Real Fighting System is a transformative initiative that equips commandos with advanced fighting techniques tailored to modern operational demands, further strengthening their Role and Task.
The event marked a significant milestone with the official launch of the Commando Real Fighting System Book, authored by Commander Commando Brigade, Brigadier Indika Jayaweera USP. The book is the result of Brigadier Jayaweera’s dedicated research aimed at enhancing the capabilities of commandos to execute specialized duties in operational environments.
Another highlight of the event was the ceremonial awarding of the first authorized badge of the CRFS Course to the graduating officer and ranks, symbolizing their achievement and expertise in the system.
The Commandant of RHQCR graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, alongside 27 officers and 331 commandos who gathered to witness this proud moment.
