Quarterly Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Commando Regiment

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Commando Regiment, under the guidance and leadership of its President, Mrs. Samindie Wickramarathne, conducted its quarterly meeting on 13 September 2025 at 1430 hrs at the Regimental Centre, Ganemulla.

The meeting was convened with the objective of reviewing the welfare projects carried out during the past quarter, assessing their outcomes, and planning forthcoming initiatives aimed at further enhancing the well-being of Commando families and the wider community.

During the session, the President, together with branch members, held in-depth discussions on ongoing projects, proposed welfare programmes, and strategies to strengthen the branch’s role in supporting war heroes, their families and broader social welfare activities. The forum also created a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, foster unity and reaffirm the branch’s dedication to its noble responsibilities.

This gathering, held under the vision and leadership of Mrs. Samindie Wickramarathne, once again exemplified the Seva Vanitha Branch’s steadfast commitment to welfare, compassion, and solidarity, thereby reinforcing its vital contribution within the Commando Regiment.
