REGIMENTAL HEADQUARTERS OF CES LEAD BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN IN SUPPORT OF NATIONAL HEALTH

In celebration of their Corps Day, Regimental Head Quarters of Corps of Engineer Services organized a Blood Donation Campaign on 24 December 2025 at their Regimental Head Quarters’ premises. This noble initiative was aimed at supporting the National Blood Transfusion Service and contributing to the healthcare needs of the country.

The campaign was conducted under the leadership and guidance of Major General KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc, Commander Security Forces Jaffna and the Colonel Commandant of CES. Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, the Director Engineer Services of Directorate of Engineer Services and Brigadier MSD Perera USP ptsc, the Centre Commandant CES who was present at the event, encouraging donors and appreciating the voluntary spirit shown by the participants.

More than 130 Officers and ORs from CES and other units in SFHQ (WEST) jurisdiction came forward to donate blood, demonstrating their commitment to humanitarian service beyond their military duties.
