OFFICERS OF THE CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES EMERGED AS ASSOCIATE PROFESSIONAL IN THE GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL OF SRI LANKA

The 13th Annual Green Building Awards Ceremony of the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka was held on December 19, 2024, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) . In a remarkable achievement, 14 officers from the CES were awarded certificates for successful completion of the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka’s (GBCSL) Associate Professional Training Program and officially enlisting them as Associate Professionals of the GBCSL.

Maj INM Perera CES, Maj MDMSB Meegaswatte psc CES, Maj RWMRWWAHK Warakagoda CES, Maj WKN Gunarathna CES, Maj SM Sirisena CES, Maj K Anojan CES, Maj KMTK Gunarathna CES, Maj HTSM De Zoysa CES, Capt KP Wijeweera CES, Capt SA Molligoda CES, Capt THSPL Silva CES, Capt UN Weerakkody CES, Capt KHDW Anuradhi CES and Capt TS Rashmika CES were the officers who enlisted as Associate Professionals in GBCSL.

This event recognized the dedication of the CES officers who have made a concerted effort to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable architecture and green building practices. By completing the training program, these officers have become a part of an elite group of professionals dedicated to promoting eco-friendly, energy-efficient, and sustainable construction practices with in Sri Lanka Army.
