ENGINEER SERVICES TRADE SCHOOL WELCOMES THE VISITING COLONEL COMMANDANT OF THE CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES

The Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services and the Director General of Directorate of Media and Psychological Operations and the Media Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Army Major General KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc made his maiden visit to Engineer Services Trade School Saturday 7^th December. At the entrance he was accorded with a Guard Turnout and was welcomed by the ESTS Commandant, Lieutenant Colonel SDN Sooriyapperuma USP Lsc CES.

Next, the visiting senior officers were accompanied to commandants’ office for the comprehensive briefing to the Colonel Commandant. A group photograph of the officers was taken commemorating the visit, fostering unity and shared purpose.

Then, the Colonel Commandant planted a mango sapling, symbolizing the commitment to environmental responsibility and future success and then addressed the troops of ESTS, commending their dedication and professionalism to the well-being of the corps.

There after he inspected the facilities of the ESTS, gaining firsthand knowledge of the school’s capabilities. The Colonel Commandant was then gathered with officers for the lunch at the Officers’ mess.

He concluded his visit by signing the Visitors' Book, as a customary tradition solidifying the visit.
