Corps of Engineer Services organized an Officers’ Training Day programme on 21 November 2024 at Regimental Headquarters to enhance the standards of Officers in regimentation, professionalism, development and cohesiveness.
The days proceedings were commenced with Physical Training and then the Centre Commandant, CES Brig NWPSM Perera, conducted a lecture on “How to Incorporate military Estimation With Office Work” which provide an insightful briefing to a successful professional and personal life. Thereafter the officers attended sword drill training. The cricket match arranged in the evening fostered camaraderie and relaxation among the participants.
In order to mark the termination of the event, the officers gathered for Diners’ Club at Officers’ Mess where the key note speaker was Dr. (Eng) Ranil Shanaka Sugathadasa that added an extra value to the event inspiring the gathering with fresh perspectives on the topic “Motivation”.
The Colonel Commandant CES and the Director General of Directorate of Media and Psychological Operations and the Spokesman of the Sri Lanka Army Maj Gen KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc, The Centre Commandant, CES and the Officers of the Corps took part in the programme.
