The Commander Security Forces – Jaffna and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, Major General K.A.N. Rasika Kumara ndc psc, made an official visit to the 5thEngineer Services Regiment on 30 October 2025.
Upon arrival, the visiting dignitary was warmly received, and a formal Guard Turnout was presented. During the visit, the Colonel Commandant inspected the living conditions, accommodations, stores, and other key areas, and also offered guidance to maintain the highest standards among the soldiers. The Colonel Commandant addressed all ranks, commending the regiment for its professionalism and commitment . He emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of administration, and teamwork in accomplishing assigned duties effectively.
