The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Engineer Services extended a helping hand to the family of Sapper Jeewan Kumara DGM of the 1 Engineer Services Regiment, whose baby is suffering from a non-curable genetic condition.
In a compassionate gesture, essential items including sanitary napkins and milk powder were donated to support the baby’s care. The initiative was carried out by Mrs. Anupama Rathnayaka, President of the CES Seva Vanitha Branch, reflecting the branch’s commitment to assisting families of servicemen in need.
The donation program was conducted at the Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Engineer Services, Panagoda, on 29 October 2025 with the presence of Mrs. Anupama Rathnayaka, the president CES SVB.
This act of kindness demonstrates the CES Seva Vanitha Branch’s continuous dedication to welfare and community support within the Corps.
