The Corps of Engineer Services (CES) Seva Vanitha Branch conducted a distribution program of essential baby care equipment for expecting wives of soldiers, with the objective of supporting the families of serving personnel.
The event was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Anupama Rathnayaka, President of the CES Seva Vanitha Branch, with the intention of extending care and support to pregnant spouses of soldiers serving the nation.
The program was held at the Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda Camp, on 29th December 2025 and commenced at 1500 hours. Expectant mothers, accompanied by their soldier spouses, were present to receive the assistance provided by the CES Seva Vanitha Branch.
Mrs. Anupama Rathnayaka attended the event as the Chief Guest. Also present were the Vice President, Mrs. Aruni Chandrasekara, Mrs. Surangi Kanchana, and other senior members of the CES Seva Vanitha Branch, whose presence reflected the organization’s commitment to the welfare of military families.
All invitees and guests were offered tea during the program as part of the formal hospitality arrangements.
The distributed packages symbolized both material support and the continued care and concern of the CES Seva Vanitha Branch towards ensuring the well-being of military families.
