The Christian Service, conducted in conjunction with the 76th Anniversary of the Corps of Engineer Services, was held at the Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Engineer Services on 29th December 2025. The event was graced by Brigadier MNJ Perera, Brigadier Admin and Quartering Security Force Head Quarters (West), Brigadier M S D Perera USP ptsc, Centre Commandant of Corps of Engineer Service, Col NN Abeysekara, Deputy Centre Commandant of CES, Lt Col WN Manjula, Overlooking Staff Officer 1 (Admin); along with Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Corps of Engineer Services.
The Holy Mass was officiated by Rev. Fr. Thilina Samith, Parish Priest of St. Michael’s Church, Homagama. The religious observance added spiritual significance to the occasion, insist the Corps’ commitment to its core values, faith, and long-standing traditions.
Such commemorative services continue to strengthen unity, discipline, and camaraderie within the Corps, while serving as a reminder of the strong foundation upon which the Corps of Engineer Services continues to progress.
