CENTRE COMMANDANT WELCOMED NEWLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS TO THE FAMILY OF CREATORS

Newly commissioned lady and gentleman officers to the Corps of Engineer Service were accorded a formal reception by Brigadier MSD Perera USP ptsc, the Centre Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services on wednesday (24) at the Regimental Centre – CES, Panagoda.

Under the guidance and leadership of the Colonel Commandant, Major General KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc this induction ceremony not only welcomes new officers into the fold but also instils in them a sense of pride, belonging, and responsibility. It sets the tone for their future endeavours within the Corps, emphasizing the importance of tradition, camaraderie, and service to the country.

The induction ceremony was graced by Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, The Director Engineer Services of Directorate of Engineer Services. Senior Officers, and Officers of the Corps witnessed the significant occasion.
