CENTRE COMMANDANT OF CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES VISITS 12 (V) ENGINEER SERVICES REGIMENT

Brigadier NWPSM Perera, the Centre Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services visited the 12 (V) Engineer Services Regiment, Kamburupitiya on 21 May 2025 with to inspect the administrative matters of the unit. .

Upon the arrival, the Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Maj WL Chaminda CES, the Commanding Officer (Overlooking) of 12 (V) ESR and was accorded with a Guard Turnout showcasing the military discipline.

In-line with the programme, the Centre Commandant planted a Mango Sapling in the premises and posed for a group photograph with officers of the unit to mark his visit.

There after the Centre Commandant conducted a camp visit and then inspected the administrative matters of the unit.The Centre Commandant addressed the Officers and Administrative Staff of 10 (V) ESR highlighting the administrative matters in the unit.

This significant event highlighted the regiment's professionalism, dedication, and vital role in the Sri Lankan military, further strengthening the bonds within the unit.

Staff Officers of the Regimental Headquarters of Corps of Engineer Services took part in the visit.
