ARMY INTER-REGIMENT KABADDI CHAMPIONSHIP – 2024

The Army Inter-Regiment Kabaddi Championship concluded on 22 November 2024 at the Army Physical Training School, Panagoda.

Players from 12 regiments showcased their talents in the tournament.

After a series of closely contested encounters, the team, Corps of Engineer Services emerged as champions in the Novice Men's Team Championship. The Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers claimed the runner-up position, while the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps secured the second runner-up title.

Major General A M K G P S K Abeysinghe, Director General of Financial Management, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC), and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Army Kabaddi Committee, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest in the awarding ceremony.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.

The Director Engineer Services, Brig YKS Rangika psc ptsc and the Centre Commandant Brig NWPSM Perera praised the players on their achievement.
