Keeping with traditions and the rich cultural heritage we possess as a nation and the need to keep them 'alive' so that these art forms are preserved for generations to come, the Colonel of the Regiment and Senior Officers of the Regiment contemplated the idea of forming its own a Cultural Dancing Troupe.
Thus, on 4th November 2009 the Cultural Dancing Troupe was formed at the Regimental Centre Ambepussa.
10 being the number of 'dancers' that made up the Troupe at its inception, it at present has a total of 34 personnel. Trained and skilled in many forms of traditional dance forms, the talented performers apart from performing at various regimental functions also perform at important government functions, national festivals and other appropriate functions and ceremonies.
