The Regt of Sri Lanka National Guard prestigiously holds an annual Scholarship Programme for the beloved sons & daughters of the War Heroes of SLNG who sacrificed their lives or limbs to defeat brutal terrorism which dragged over 30 years with the sacred intention of safeguarding the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. This gracious event is being organized annually for several years according to an invaluable concept of the present Colonel of the Regiment Major General GVDUA Perera RWP RSP VSV USP USAWC psc with the co-operation of the donors and well-wishers to proudly grant scholarships to encourage students at their highest achievements during Grade 5 Scholarship examination, G.C.E O/L, G.C.E A/L and qualifying for university education.
