Commander, ARTRAC Major General S S Waduge RWP RSP USP ndu psc made his maiden official visit to SLACDRT on 03rd March 2021. On his arrival at the SLACDRT main gate he was welcomed by the Col KPSA Amarakoon RSP Commandant SLACDRT. Later, a brief presentation on role, task, functions and administrative aspects of the Centre was conducted by the Commandant, SLACDRT.
Thereafter, Major General S S Waduge Plant a sapling for mark the visit. Then he visited the camp premises and training area of SLACDRT. After that he addressed the troops and emphasized the importance of disaster activities.
Further, he stress the need of promoting professional competencies through proper training. All the officers and Other Ranks of the centre were presented during the event.
