Commemoration of 2nd Anniversary

Giving priority to religious rituals, a series of events were conducted by the troops of Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Training to mark its 2^nd anniversary during 1^st and 2^nd Feb 2021, under the patronage of Col KPSA Amarakoon RSP Commandant SLACDRT as the chief guest.

1^st Feb 2021, blessing programme was organized at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy in order to invoke the blessing to all Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Staff members serving under SLACDRT. On the same day “Sramadana Programme” was organized to clean Kothmale to Moragolla road.

On the following day declared opened the newly constructed Commandant’s Chalet. After that Bodhi Pooja programme was organized with the participation of all members of SLACDRT. Then the troop address, all rank tea and special lunch at their respective messes were organized.
