65 Division Celebrated Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival on 21 April 2018 at Mulangavil Vinayagar Public Ground. The initiative behind the celebration was to develop the mutual understanding and to enhance cultural relationship between the two communities. A large crowd from the Mulangavil area gathered at Vinayagar Public Ground to witness the traditional event.

The Sinhala and Hindu New Year festive season across the country made its entry to the Iranamadu Wavu Thavulla premises on 09.04.2018 and all Officers and soldiers of the Security Forces Headquarters – Kilinochchi, under command battalions, FMA – Kilinochchi and its under command battalions joined hands together to celebrate the auspicious event, giving prominence to the traditional New Year games and other associated events.

Security Forces Kilinochchi, further expanded its charity work of assisting the students in Kilinochchi District by distributed 10 push bicycles under the patronage of Foundation of Goodness among the students obtained the best results at G.C.E O/L examination 2016. The event was held at Headquarter-Security Force Kilinochchi on 14 March 2018. The main intent of this HQ is to assist and uplift the educational standards of the students in the area while promoting goodwill and reconciliation among the communities.

The Security Forces - Kilinochchi conducted another goodwill gesture for the students in Kilinochchi. Twenty five Push bicycles were distributed among school children of low income families under the patronage of Lions Club of Negombo Orient, on 14 March 2018 at Harmony center (Kilinochchi). This event facilitated immensely to enhance the reconciliation and benevolence among the community. The 57 Division organized the programme under the guidance of Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi.

A charity program was organized by the Security Force Kilinochchi with the intention of enhancing the reconciliation and goodwill among the community in Kilinochchi District. This event was organized with the collaboration of Foundation of Goodness on a request made by Commander Security Force Kilinochchi on 6 March 2018. Number of selected students from low income families received school accessories and bicycles as a gesture during the event held at Nelumpiyasa Auditorium.
