THE NATIONAL WAR HEROES’ MEMORIAL DAY OF CENTRAL PROVINCE

In parallel with the National War Heroes’ Memorial Day, Central Province celebrated the National War Heroes’ day on 29 May 2025 at the War Heroes’ Memorial in Mailapitiya with the participation of the Governor of Central Province, members of the Security Forces and family members of the fallen war heroes.

The Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General K A W N H Bandaranayake USP, the General Officer Commanding of 11 Division, Major General K A U Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG and other senior officers attended the event. Government officials, dignitaries and representatives from Sister Services and police were also attended.
