THE TROOPS OF 4TH BATTALION SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY CONSTRUCTED A NEW HOUSE FOR A NEEDY FAMILY

Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, commander security forces central graced the housewarming ceremony as the chief Guest on 15 October 2024.

In conjunction with 75th anniversary of the Army, as a concept of the commander of the army, under the guidance commander security forces (central), and the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 11 Infantry Division, Commander 641 Infantry Brigade, and Commanding Officer 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry successfully completed the construction of a new house for Mrs.AG Sujatha Upasena and her family at Maligathanna, Kiralagolla, Dabulla.

This project was made possible through financial support from Mr.Vincent Sinnadorai who lived in Canada and labor assistance given by(00X07) troops of 4SLLI. The house was open by commander security forces central Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, at an auspicious time, accompanied by religious observances and handed over the keys to beneficiary and extended his best wishes to family for their future endeavors. This community project aims to enhance the living standards of beneficiary family.

The ceremony was attended by General Officer Commanding11 Infantry Division, Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Commander 641 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer, 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Senior Officers, as well as Donor Mr.Vincent Sinnadorai , government officials, and local villagers.
